When you think you’ve seen or heard it all, Audi Singapore ups the game for Singapore’s 50th anniversary celebrations, by inviting the public to a virtual reality tour, allowing us to step back into a time freeze of 1965. the VIP event I attended was brilliant and truly unique!

Starting from the famed Fullerton Hotel, you sit in comfort of the Audi A6, that will make a loop around the city while you place the LG custom made goggles over your eyes , with the familiar voice of Dick Lee guiding you through the exact route.
It’s hard to imagine the city before the land was reclaimed, and it amazed Yuey and myself to see the waterline right up next to the Fullerton Hotel. Never one to sit still, it wasn’t long till I started turning my head and checking out what was behind me and it didn’t disappoint!
In my VR tour , I was sitting in a manual, cabriolet Audi, with lovely tan seats. Over my right shoulder I distinctly remember watching a motorcycle from that era, cruise behind us till we turned to float over the water . It felt like I could just reach out and yell out to the driver.
