26th May – I had the honour of hosting the Singapore Pools celebrated their 55th Anniversary dinner where they launched a year-long fundraising effort with a target of S$1.5 million
Guest of Honour, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam announced that Singapore Pools will be setting aside 15,000 square feet of retail space (the largest space in Singapore Pools’ history!) at the Bukit Merah OCB for community and social service agencies’ use on a rent-free basis as well as the ‘Community with a Heart’ engagement campaign where they pledge $1, capped at $250,000, to Community Chest for every virtual flower planted. The distinguished guests greatly enjoyed the incredible performances put up by our talented performers @skyshenmusic and Claire Teo artists from @art.dis.singapore were really amazing with their performances!
