A mega way to end my 2019, when Barack Obama graced the shores of Singapore. I had the opportunity to host the only private event with the former President of the United States.
The night’s aim was to raise money for four beneficiaries, namely Dreams Academy (South Central Community Family Service Centre), Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) Service Fund, Daughters Of Tomorrow, and Persatuan Pemudi Islam Singapura (PPIS)
With an hours moderated conversation, with the subject touching on how educate marginalised women and children from disadvantaged families and provide them with the tools to be financially independent.
The night unfolded in the ballroom of the Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore with 4 Michelin starred chefs, Sebastien Lepinoy, Tetsuya Wakuda, Beppe De Vito, and Cheung Siu Kong tantalising the palates of all those present.
