Charity : The Hunger Games The Mockingjay Part 1

Singapore (26th October) — This movie premiere of ‘The Hunger Games – Mockingjay Part 1’ is jointly organised by charities, Cat Welfare Society (CWS) and Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD). The movie will be screened at 9pm and 9.30pm at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard.

This collaborative effort between a cat charity and a dog charity is the first of its kind in Singapore and aims to bring together animal lovers for our shared vision in providing community cats and stray dogs a better quality of life.

Through this event, CWS and SOSD hope to garner more social support and resources to help our community cats and stray dogs in Singapore. CWS and SOSD advocate sterilisation as the humane and effective means to manage the population of these animals in Singapore, and the funds raised will help contribute to thateffort. Apart from sterilisation, CWS continues to devote resources to educate cat owners on responsible pet ownership as well as to raise awareness and gain support for caregivers and feeders islandwide.

This fundraiser is organised with the support of Patrick Harrigan Foundation and Cathay Cineplexes.

Movie tickets have started selling on 24th October 2014, Friday.
