The inaugural Mediacorp HongBao run that is in line with the auspicious theme of the Year of the Horse, will feature an 8km route that will be flagged-off from Nicholl Highway and takes runners from Kallang to the city centre via the historical Merdeka Bridge.
Participants are also encouraged to dress up in the spirit of Chinese New Year and take part in the fancy dress contest. Three lucky winners get to walk away with hong baos worth S$888 in cash if they impress the DJ judges from 987FM with their costumes.
In order to encourage more families to sign up as a unit, organisers have also rolled out a “Group of 4” registration package at a special price of just S$188, which represent savings of more than 30 percent.
