In their own words,
“The first-ever KM Duathlon in Singapore to be held at the Changi Exhibition Centre will place an exciting new challenge to running and cycling enthusiasts on the 20th of July this year. The inaugural KM Duathlon consists of running and cycling over two distances – the KM60 Distance and the KM30 Distance. The KM60 distance sees the participant running a familiar 10km, followed by a 40km cycle, and ending with another 10km run.”
How am I participating?
Part of an all female team ‘Sisters in Sport’ (Sis), along side Cheryl Tay (Journalist) and Kelly Latimer (Presenter), we are taking on the challenge as part of a charity bid to raise awareness for CARE Singapore, who’s mission is ‘…helping youths succeed.’ Instead of the only 2 people required, we have been allowed to split the challenge up into 3 people!
Registrations for the KM Duathlon is still open to the public. Interested parties may register at www.kmduathlon.com
Guess who we got on board?
Minister Teo Ser Luck has just confirmed his participation in the KM Duathlon and to further motivate us, he has decided to match every dollar we raise for CARE Singapore, above the $2,500 that the organiser Infinitus Productions will be topping up too. AMAZING!
To support the cause, we will help you go the distance, just check out the donation page should you like to chip in :
