From the 22nd to the 23rd of June , the launch of the BMW M6 Gran coupé was held in Sepang & KL, Malaysia. With more than 30 cars shipped directly from Germany, those invited had the golden opportunity to test the carbon-ceramic brakes at the Sepang International Circuit.

A whole day event, it consisted of individuals split up into groups and then put through a series of training for time attacks, straight line speeds, braking, track lines and corners.

What really shone through , was when I had the wicked chance to get some faster laps in,  with only one other car and the instructor, which meant an empty track, paving the way for us to test the 2 door and 4 door M6 at a higher speed. Lucky girl? You bet!

The sleek design of the M6  (especially in an Ice white) ,bold and  backed back by 560bmp , the 2 door M6 Gran Coupé , made for a an excellent drive. Personally loving the 2 door over the 4 door for the drive (fun for rear sliders),  the car set up on the M2 mode, coupled with the traction control off , made for an adventure coming out of some of the turns.

BMW obviously proud to stick the M badge back on the BMW, has every reason to show off its latest car. Fast, bold and slick, the M6 exploded down the straights, and though you felt slightly like you were in a cockpit with the amount of technology and buttons, my test with the left-hand drive car was met with exaltation and big grins.
