I myself have started treatment, with a sponsor of 50 treatments, to try and lighten my facial pigmentation aka freckles. In the past I never had a skin regime, but as a lover of the sun, I noticed over the last ten years, my freckles were becoming more pronounced on my face, actually spreading to under my nose causing me to look like I had brown paint splattered across my face.
My first treatment, they looked at my face closely, lay me down , they took off all my makeup and put a cooling cream all over my face to numb the sensation of the laser going over. I was slightly nervous of what the pain would be , but I have a very high tolerance. I think people nowadays want value for money ,so going for a $60 dollar treatment on their faces, they expect a full 3 hour long process. To be honest, length of time is quite meaningless if it is not effective. Moving forward to my 4th treatment, I started to see a small difference with my pigmentation lightening, which I was really surprised about. Coupled with a good UV cream, to prevent it darkening, this was definitely a breakthrough in treatments available to the masses. In and out, fuss free!
