Its Saturday and the skies are clear, smattered with only  a handful of clouds,  but I won’t be soaking up the island life today. Thankfully I packed my overnight bag last night.

I’m off to the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia,  for the much awaited ‘Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race 2013’ the biggest endurance race in Asia.

We all know the pull of the Formula One series and this has attracted a host of local and international events from around Asia and Europe, so there is always a chance to see ex-formula one drivers teamed up with the regions drivers. A reason for some to come on down AND its open to the public for FREE.

There is plenty of time to make it down as the Race flag off is  tonight (Saturday) at MIDNIGHT!

Travelling around the region for the Porsche Carrera cup Asia (PCCA), I have gotten to know quite a few of the drivers, which would happen if you spent 12hours in and out the  pits. I look forward to supporting and seeing a few familiar faces  of the PCCA taking part in this race, where they will be clocking the laps before the Singapore F1 , come September 20th-22nd.

A couple of the guys I know who have qualified with their 2 other drivers:

1. Frank Yu (Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3) 2:03.633s

2.Mok Weng Sun (Ferrari 458 Italia GT3) 2:04.258s

3. Adrian D’Silva/Earl Bamber/Alif Hamdan (Ferrari 458 Italia GT3) 2:06.306s

4. Darryl O’Young (Porsche GT3R) 2:06.449s

5. Adderly Fong (Audi R8 LMS Ultra) 2:06.08

GOOD LUCK to all driving!!!!
