My first ever 21.1km  Great Eastern Women’s Run  ( #GEWR ) in 2014

Taking part in the Run to Live Great Programme’ ( #RTLG ) , it is an aim to promote a start to healthier and better living.

What’s wicked  is the fact it is the largest women’s-only run in the region. Plenty of time, grab a buddy and enter the 5km or 10km on the 9th November!

Enthusiasm is a great motivation when finding a partner to run. Unfortunately my partner to be and sister Rachel Jedrek, had to let go of her position.

In a heart beat my new partner Sandra, also known as Sanne, who I have known since 2009, when she was working on the production Team of Polo Boys (yes I played the Polytechnic mixed chick Jessica). She didn’t think twice when I asked her. I knew she’d love a challenge and 10km run’s!

I’ve decided to do my second half marathon, though I swore off my first one in 2011, at the Perth City to Surf, which was an unsuspecting gruelling incline of multiple hills.I can’t wait to start training and set this as my year end big bang!
